Many small concrete ponds were outside and to the sides and rear of the main dwelling house.
There were just about every variety of Koi one could imagine in just about every size also and this remains the same today. Many purchases were made at that stop and varieties hitherto unknown except by pictures were found there.
My first impressions were ‘frenzied yet happy chaos’.
